...sheaves bales.

We were blackberrying while the farmer was gathering his straw bales and arranging them in neat rows in an adjacent field.

Interesting as this was, the honey-coloured field of bales was more attractive and gets the blip.

Once home I made up the first batch of bramble jelly - yummy. The process continues tomorrow.
