North Dakota Capitol

After driving in pretty much a straight line, due West, along I 94, we arrived in the capital of North Dakota, Bismarck. It is an unspectacular town albeit with some pleasing Art Deco and other more colonial style houses.

There is evidence that local people know how to enjoy themselves and the overriding impression was of a most friendly, congenial city.
