Cycle to work day

As it was cycle to work day today the boys drew some bikes before bed this evening.
Luca's one had a kite attached :-)
Strangely I saw less bikes on the road today than I did yesterday...weird.
Anyway only 2 people tried to kill me crazy drivers today.
1 car driver was so mad that he couldn't get passed me he drove on the other side of a traffic island before speeding off - I caught and passed him 200m later.
The 2nd was a van driver who was practically on my back wheel going through roadworks,
Anyway, that doesn't include the buses of course, I've stopped counting the daily incidents with them.
Seriously, if you want more people cycling in Edinburgh, the roads need to be safer and until there are better cycle lanes and paths, drivers need to be just a wee bit patient sometimes.
