Lemania! I need sleep!

So, Thursday night, home by 18:30, had dinner and just chatting to the boys as they were getting ready for bed.
I got a text saying that there appeared to be network problems @ the London office.
Ok, told the boys I'd be back in a minute and went off to my PC to login and check things out.
That was about 20:15.
Next morning @ 09:30, I was still sitting there!
The network problems were a major telco problem into our building affecting connectivity to the our other offices.
This is a big office in the city.
By 03:30 it was obvious that the problems weren't likely to be resolved by the start of the business day.
What a nightmare.
Panic stations.
A few scary moments but some creative reworking of our connectivity into other offices meant we were able to get the office up and running before any users arrived and they were all completely oblivious to what had been going on behind the scenes overnight :-)
Some minor fine tuning meant it wasn't possible to get any sleep through the rest of Friday and we were at a party last night too.
That, and an early start this morning for the boys' swimming lessons mean not a lot of sleep in the last few days.

Anyway, this has been my watch of choice for the last few weeks.
It's an Heuer 510.501, probably from the early 80's.
It's a great watch and tough as old boots.
The Lemania 5100 movement was revolutionary in it's design due to the use of non-standard materials such as nylon and was used in many watches of the time (this Omega for example).
Due to the robustness of the movement it was often deployed in military watches.
The coloured hands on this one would once have been a very bright orange but have now been diluted by the sun.
I have another, correct, day-glo orange set which I planned to swap over but these ones are growing on me so I'll keep the others in the spares box.
(plus Max told me I'd be crazy to put the others on :-))
I love the layout and the central chrono minute hand even has an aeroplane on the end of it - magic :-)
I guess the 24 hour dial at the top is useful if you're working round the clock and need to know whether you're in am or pm :-)
