A View from the Pennine Way....

The Pennine Way crosses the M62 at Jct 22 - Windy Hill.

This view is from the narrow footbridge that crosses the motorway. The bridge has a span of 320ft and carries the footpath 65ft above the carriageway.
At this point you are 1,276ft above sea level - and it's normally very windy - but not today. Warm and virtually windless - but swarms of flies about - in my hair, behind my glasses - I had to keep my mouth tightly closed :-(
This view of the bridge will be familiar to many fellow blippers who travel the M62.
