Holly Heaven

This is our bedroom in Holly Nook, the cottage we've come to in Ambleside, to be with M's brother and family.

Spent entire day lifting everything off the floor in our house in order to vacuum and treat for fleas (thanks, Marmite!) - and then an exhausting crawl up the M6 - arriving here after dark.

First words from my nephew before I'd even got in, "Would you like a glass of wine?" And then, a superb lasagne and salad, followed by a chocolate and raspberry roulade.

Feels like heaven.
