What an old boot!

Our village used to be home to the artist/sculptor Louis Verdal (known as Louis 2 Verdal). We still have a resident sculptor, of course, Pierre Decorse. But Louis peppered the village with pieces of re-invented cast-offs while he lived here. One is this old boot, split asunder and painted up in bright colours, much more interesting in its deconstructed state than when it was worn on the foot!
