this guy has all the calm assurance that his bare feet and sunglasses suggest. at the point i took this photo, he was moving between the rigging of the main and the mizzen masts on the 155 ft ketch asolare. as the main mast is 200 tall, my best guess is that he was about 150 ft above the deck when i took this photo. how i saw him i don't know. how i got him in focus is an even bigger question. but it was fun watching him (and his coworker) navigate the rigging. their carefree grace made it look so easy.
