Grandfather

To clear the sitting room for the painter, we had to take every thing out and this included the grandfather clock. For convenience we took it to bits (as one does!). Here is part of the mechanism as the head lies on the dining room table ready for the reassembly job.

While in pieces I will try to do one small job repairing the chime mechanism: in principle easy, in practice a nightmare. Grandfather is nearly 200 years old so needs some tlc.
