XIV. I'm sitting now...

...around our old block of Sarria, in Casa Joana, which was our every Friday night restaurant during 10 years. Nowhere seems so much like home (or our living room to be more precise) as here. Luis, who has crept into the shot, is approaching his 42nd anniversary of working here...we share 23 years of them! We embrace and kiss when we come back and happily share the ups and downs of our lives and the progress of his three children. He has nine years to go before he retires to his village in the mountains of Aragon; we're invited any time. All we need is the name of the village, which he'll give us, and his neighbours will take us to his door!

And we'll go, and they will.

PS
We discussed with Angels, the lady owner, the possibility of translating and putting on the walls my short story which was inspired by the place. It's called 'Espinacas a la Crema'...and guess what Dd had today for her main course, why, of course, creamed spinach!

PPS
This series will end definitively tomorrow when it reaches its fifteenth entry. I just wanted to highlight that in accordance with its title of 'I'm sitting now', the blips have been posted in the same minute as being taken...or slightly longer if the text needed a little longer to correct!
