Show Time!

I mentioned the Village Show yesterday and this afternoon we went down to take a look at the entries generally and to see how the photography section had been judged. How embarassing ... I got 1st place in both classes! That just seems like being greedy!

The two subjects were 'Stormy Skies' and 'Wildlife' and I've put links to the pics as you can see. To be honest, there weren't many entries in this section and it would be good to build it up a bit. A couple of my village Photo Club buddies put entries in but several others were people that I don't know. It would be good to flag it up earlier next year and get more entries from our club.

There were some beautiful entries in the flowers and lots of great vegetables, if that's your thing. My blip is of some lovely dahlias and I liked this one because I like the inclusion of the folks behind.
