st tropez for the day

Hired a couple of electric bikes and went to St Tropez today. What an experience! The boats and people are a sight to behold. Had drinks in an eye-wateringly expensive bar when we arrived and then wandered around taking in the views. Thought we might bump into Brad Pitt or Rihanna....

Had a laugh at the old gendarmerie nationale where France's version of the carry on movies were filmed. A guy dressed up as Louis de Funès posed for pics with us for a few bob.

We ate lunch in an Italian restaurant, looking out onto the more traditional fishing boats of St Tropez.

On our way home we parked our bikes at a little beach en route and jumped in the water to cool off. Bliss!
