Butterfly Kisses

I sat out in the garden this afternoon to watch the butterflies and enjoy the sun.

I always feel it such a privilege when a butterfly lands on you!

So gentle and delicate.

Ok, so I had put myself in their territory, sitting still. However, they were quite happy to land on or near me…and I enjoyed watching them straighten and re-coil their proboscis until it was so tight and tucked away you could hardly see it. :)
