Equal Opportunity Day Gala

Tonight we sponsored a table at the Pinellas County Urban league Hall of Fame gala. The key note speaker was Derrick Brooks. He was the second Buccaneer to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. There was something in his speech for everyone. He is a very humble man that has learned to have a servant heart. I loved that he was completely unashamed of his faith. He was asked what was his most important decision he had made in his life and without hesitation he said it was his decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We are blessed to have Derrick as a role model in our community. He spoke from his heart with the plea to everyone to help someone daily using the time and resources that God has given you.
