Blackout

So in Bogota we get blackouts at least once a month. The electricity goes and power is lost to our who barrio, or sometimes just the street or our block of flats. As soon as the power goes Miguel shouts out "at least we weren't in the lift this time"!! its his nightmare to be stuck in the lift when the power goes! Sometimes its lost for hours like today! And then I don't open the fridge to try protect the food and don't go out after dark. It reminds me of my time in cuba where the power went at least twice a week for hours!
