Boughs

Spreading twisted boughs,
Dark against rose-tinted sky.
Delicate and strong.

... My Dad always told me you could identify an oak tree by twisting branches. Even when the leaves have fallen, they are easy to spot. This one still has its curly edged leaves ... it looked so fine silhouetted against the fading sky .... had to be blipped!
