preparing the chicken........

I left early this morning for the 5 hour drive to Chitipa....its actually a very pleasant drive now that we have a tar road all the way! I was going to see my Malawian 'son' and his sister and cousin. The girls go to school in Chitipa and they leave tomorrow for the new term so I wanted to see them before they leave, as I had the things they need for the new term. They are in secondary school and as I mentioned before most secondary schools here are boarding. Unfortunately they have not had the results from last terms exams so they have no idea if they have passed or not!! Time will tell.

I arrived for lunch and we chatted most of the afternoon which was lovely! This is Patricia cutting up the chicken for supper........and I have to say it was delicious!
