Kelpie selfie

It's my sister's birthday tomorrow, and so to celebrate, we went on a microadventure today.

We spent the day near Falkirk visiting the Falkirk Wheel and going on a wee boat ride through the wheel, then had a massive lunch in the Wheelhouse Restaurant, and finished up with a trip to the Kelpies.

I love the Kelpies. You may recall that Michael and I went to see them back in January. You weren't allowed up close back then so we had to view them from the other side of the canal. Today we were allowed up close and personal though. They really are magnificent! So we had to take a Kelpie selfie - not my greatest photo, but a great shot of the family! What a wonderful day'
