Highland Jaunt Day 1

NO ROOM AT THE INN. We paused on the way North at Bankfoot to seek lunch but were met with a sign saying 'We have no staff to serve at lunchtime' which might of course be translated as, 'We cannae be bothered!' This despite wide and extensive advertising on the way North and on the internet. A helpful local resident advised us to move on to Dunkeld where we enjoyed a fine lunch. However the picture reflects two weary and hungry travellers peering into an unfortunate failure of Scottish hospitality.
