The great wall.....

.....of volunteers.
Didn't have enough time to finish the wall which was about 14 metres long. (1 ton of stone per metre!)
I came home looking as if I had been on a building site - which I had, of course.
The sun was very hot and we had no shade at the 'ladies' end of the wall. Three of us and nine men.
The farmer came to see us and was impressed with what we had accomplished. Somebody else will have the pleasure of finishing it!
Thoroughly enjoyed it - good crowd - lots of laughs - and the bath when I got home revived me.
Will now have to find another challenge!
We had a straightforward drive there and back relying on good old fashioned map!
