View from the Yew garden

We took a well needed trip out to explore two national trust properties and the nearby canal network. This is a view from the spiral path of the Yew Garden at Packwood House, Warwickshire. The garden was laid out to represent the 'Sermon on the Mount'. The trees in the Yew garden are over 350 years old. The herbaceous borders were also in wonderful form and colour.

We then visited the medieval moated manor house and gardens at Baddesley Clinton followed by a stroll along the canal system at Kingswood Junction where the Grand Union Canal and Stratford upon Avon canals meet.
