'Another Gift'...........!!!

More 'real' signs of Autumn..........!
Yes and a friend of mine called and left this bag of lovely Bramley Apples for me one day last week when I was away......!
So, this is the first pie cooked with them this evening......
and I can vouch that they are delicious........!!

Now I would sincerely like to thank all of you for your very good wishes
regarding my rash last week..........because they must have worked!!!!
It was quite bad on the Monday and Tuesday in Galway but I persevered and had about 4 baths with the bread soda in and kept making the paste with the bread soda and water........
and lo-and-behold when I woke up on Wednesday morning it was COMPLETELY gone..........like I'd never had it.......I just couldn't believe....like most things that irritate you a lot ...you learn to live with it......so I was amazed!!!!
So between your kind thoughts....the prayers.....and maybe the Old Remedy...
and definitely the total relaxation.....something worked....
and thank God it hasn't come back!!!!!!

My Mam came home this afternoon......she looks really well....
I couldn't say she 'settled' there but she made the best of it...
So we're back to the usual routine....with some new rules...
I will not be allowing myself to reach that level of stress again!!
