Mono Monday: Big Sky Over the Old School House

Monday has rolled around again, so for today's monochrome - themed Sky - I decided to take this shot of the big sky brewing over the old school house, just down the road.

I decided to take Jack out for a walk, thus combining Blip and dog exercising duties, so we headed down the hill to see what we could find.

Knowing that sky had to be a big element in the image I decided to go for a wide angle. But which to choose? After fitting the 14mm, I decided to switch to my 17-35mm f/2.8. I think it was a good choice as being able to zoom in allowed me to compose the shot, bringing the building into play.
