Hug a tree?

Only if it's not been cut down!

Last night was Not A Very Good Night, so I opted to stay at home today in a effort to bring myself around. Sleeping didn't help, nor did reading, (most unusually) card making or computer gaming. So this afternoon I went off for a walk around the woods.

I haven't been in over a year, despite the proximity, and I'd forgotten what a lovely place it is. Walking along in the dappled sunshine, peace and quiet all around, saying hello to the occasional dog walker has done me the world of good. Truth be told, I feel better this evening than I have in days.

And I'm sure there's a good reason for the chopped down tree.
