Albufeira

Awoke to thick mist and very heavy cloud. Breakfasted outside then set off for a road trip to explore along the coast. Everywhere was the same, thick low cloud and high humidity. Stopped at Albufeira and walked into the old town where we found a nice looking restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. People were on the beach despite the murky weather but as we ate the cloud slowly but steadily began to lift, by the time we left the sky definitely had a blue tinge. We voted to leave the crowds behind and return to our sanctuary where we spent the rest of the afternoon swimming and sunbathing. Lovely.
