Godalming Wharf
The River Wey Navigation has been in existence since the 17th Century and is owned today by the National Trust. Godalming Wharf is the most southerly limit of navigation on the river. The building on the left appears to be a warehouse and is partly built of timber with weatherboarding and red brick with a tiled roof. The narrowboat Iona seen moored seems to be used as a boat for trips up and down the navigation. It is painted in the traditional colours and style associated with canals.
