Promenade along the Pier

Fine, drizzly rain persisted for most of today, eventually stopping mid-afternoon. We drove to Whitby and had a wander around. A very dull, overcast evening but there were plenty of people around eating fish and chips and enjoying the sea air.

We then joined the North York Moors Railway Pullman Dining train and enjoyed the beautiful scenery between Grosmont & Pickering (until it got dark) and a very nice meal.
