POLISH PONY

Visited the RSPB Bird Reserve at Blacktoft today.
Specials views included a Water Rail, Egret, Plover and Bearded Tits.
New to the Reserve are these Konik ponies.
Of Polish origin they are small and feral horses, being used here to keep the undergrowth down.
As with all horses, their main ambition in life is to eat !
