Perfect Picnic

Managed to get my b-i-l's Boma onto the speed boat today, so we went south down Windermere, and then walked back along the west side to Wray Castle. Had an idyllic picnic of Cumberland sausage sandwiches and beer in the sunshine on the Bark Barn jetty of the Bike Boat route.

S-i-l and I then went round Wray Castle - loved it - so interesting - not been open long - the lad who showed us round is obviously smitten with the idea of restoring it.

But the best bit is proper news of our kids in Trapiá - they have gone into town today, so could email and whatsap (is that a verb??) us, and they sound very happy.
