Whoop-dee-doo

After driving over 370 miles, we stepped-out into 95F heat and soupy humidity in Kansas City. Consequently, we visited this place quite soon. KC has some modern buildings and some older ones. They all seem to be very widely spread out, which, in this hear makes exploring quite hard work.

One of the joys of touring the USA is listening to local radio. Today, passing through South Dakota, Iowa and Missouri, there were several updates on the price of wheat, corn, soya beans, beef and hogs as well as the fascinating adverts. My favourite today extolled the virtues of a jewellery store which has "the complete range of styles, from fabulous to incredible."
