Cotton mountain, Pamukkale, Turkey

As predicted, we climbed up the slope running across the face of “Cotton Mountain” Wasn't sure what to expect, and slightly surprised to find that bare feet were mandatory, because of slippery surfaces. Anyway, we made it to the top without falling over, or into the many pools, formed by evaporation of the mineral rich water (and possibly by some council workers and concrete?) Lots of young, and not so young “godesses” posing for their partners,

Relaxed by the hotel pool for a while this pm. Very hot. Off to Antalya tomorrow.
