An Bang Beach
Taking a break from eating, we cycled to An Bang Beach, 3km outside Hoi An. A wonderful stretch of fine sand but unfortunately today was a little overcast.
Our stay in Hoi An mainly consisted of eating amazing food and relaxing in our lovely AC room. We sampled the local specialities, Banh Bao (white rose) which is steamed dumplings stuffed with minced shrimp. Cao lau (Henry's favourite) a dish of doughy flat noodles mixed with croutons, bean sprouts and greens topped with pork slices and served in a savoury broth and Banh Xeo, a crispy savoury pancake (pork and shrimp) rolled with herbs in fresh rice paper. Yum Yum.
