Dahlias....

I'm keeping an eye on a neighbour's house while they're having a walking holiday in the Lakes. They've certainly been blessed with some good weather not typical of that part of the country. All those lakes don't get there by accident do they?

I've been told to harvest some of the green beans in their garden. The more you do it, the more they come apparently. And, straight from the bean stalk, they taste wonderful. But what I've really enjoyed looking at are these beautiful Dahlias. This end of the summer, going into autumn has lots of vividly coloured flowers. And these ones are perfectly coloured as we tumble over into autumn proper.
