Scapa

A gorgeous sunny day here. In the evening I cycled down to Scapa pier. Several anglers were tere so I didn't wait to be hooked. From the side of the pier I took this shot. On the way back to town I watched a beutiful short-eared owl hunt over the fields, its russet plumage chiming perfectly with the reddening sunlight.
