Light in the Dell

It's been a fantastic week for early morning photography. Misty/Foggy conditions have been the norm around dawn in our area, encouraged by the warm days, cool nights and lack of wind. I get the feeling the autumn colours will be early this year, thanks to the warm summer and early frosts we have experienced.



I just had time to walk down the avenue at Chillington to this dell. The Shropshire Union Canal is crossed by the avenue just beyond the trees, allowing for an opening in the tree canopy that let the early sun through to cause these beams of light.
