Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

What a treat to be at the opening night of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and even more of a treat was the fact that despite the fact that there was a lot of rain about, the sky was clear throughout the event and it was not even cold.

Alex had me trot him off to the toilet twice during the show itself and he was actually quite thrilled that the second time, the cast was standing near the toilets as they waited in the wings to come onto the arena.

A very late night though to add to the previous late one at the Commonwealth Games but at least we were back at the campsite before midnight on this occasion.
