High Force

We headed south on Sunday and set up at the Caravan Club site on the outskirts of Barnard Castle.

We spent the morning at the caravan and before lunchtime headed out to High Force, an impressive waterfall in the hills above where we are staying. We had a picnic lunch when we arrived there and then headed up to the falls itself.

When we came away from there, we had a coffee and a wander in Middleton Upon Teesdale, a lovely little town on the route to the falls.

After that, back to the caravan for dinner.
