Barnard Castle
As we are staying at a caravan site on the edge of Barnard Castle, and being English Heritage members, it was fitting that we pay a visit to the castle itself and today was the day for that visit.
This was the remains of a window that would have been in the main banqueting hall overlooking the River Tees. I wouldn’t mind a view like that to look at on a daily basis.
