Philip

The local commune often put information in the postbox. Today the quarterly village magazine arrived.

I read through the information and as I turned the last page I was surprised to see the announcement of Philip's death. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised as the Mairie issued the death certificate.

It was a moment of really mixed emotions - huge sadness but also a feeling that this was Philip's home and now my home.
