Windfall

The apples are picking themselves - this gathered up off the back green over the last 3 days, and we're eating, cooking and giving away. Just one tree. Usually it's pears, but they all fell off in June - didn't follow through to mature fruit. I notice this year different things are cropping well to what cropped well last year - for example there were stacks of acorns last year but few this year, but beech are covered in beech nuts this year.
