Rising Above ...

Well the haar was sitting low around Penicuik this morning but there was an easy escape up the Pentlands where the weather was glorious. I had Carnethy all to myself and enjoyed the misty views around.
I tried a 'new' route up today (new to me), which was the Straight Up route. So, a bit of a leg burner but still nice for a change of aspect. I stumbled upon a geocache on the way up called Hollow in the Heather. Stopped to have a peek but didn't have a pen to sign in - last check in was in June so not a popular one!
