Wet webs

Well another haar, but worse than yesterday. Had the company of Helen out on the hill today - so lots of chat, many on the down hill bits!
The Pentlands were covered by haar and it wasn't till near the top that we finally escaped the mist and were able to see the hilltops around us.
Everywhere was pretty wet and the cobwebs on the gorse stood out with the water clinging to them. I was rather disappointed to find that my new boots ended up rather wet inside. I think I will be taking them back to the shop. Boots that let in water - what good are they going to be in Scotland?
