There are plenty of better views of St Mawes but you know I don't feel inclined to show one.

It may just be me but I get the impression that the St Mawes locals believe that they are a superior 'race apart' out there on the Roseland. Those I met this morning for the most part were unsmiling, ungracious and rude.

The village may well have nine millionaires living there, it may well be pretty to look at but it is the inhabitants that give a place it's soul and from what I experienced this morning St Mawes must be a pretty soulless place!
