Mamie Valerie's Jam

I spotted recently a new small business in hackney called London Borough of Jam. What a great name.

And then today I saw a rival- Granny Val's Confiture. Valerie kindly gave me teaspoon tasters of all sorts of unusual jams, including courgette. I bought a jar of that because it will be delish with roast lamb.

And I couldn't resist a pot each of pear; apricot and orange with calvados.
