Lovely to visit with a fellow ex-mystic-er and her family. The little people got on really well playing with water and running about the garden whilst we talked about life back in the UK. Then on home for a bite to eat followed by a mammoth lantern making session. The town holds a lantern procession every year. The lanterns are made by the participants from wicker and layers of paper in an array of shapes and sizes. It'll be our first time taking part. Em decided a cat was our lantern shape of choice, so that what we have.....if you close one eye and squint it looks cat-like! I'm looking forward to seeing this years river of light as it winds through the town.
