Hair styling!

Amy is such a joy to have around!

We had a hairwashing session first thing this morning and I spent ages gently teasing out the tugs in her long thick hair as Amy checked her emails.

I was transported back many years to when I did the same hair combing ritual for our children. Couldn't resist trying my hand at the old french pleat!!!
So many happy memories are evoked by spending time with our grandchildren. I am truly priviledged to have them.

She is having a 'sleepover' with her friend tonight so Bill and I will have a belated Valentine's supper. I'm cooking as he has been splitting wood all day and deserves a break. Our empty log sheds will soon be filling up.........more blips to come on that topic.
