Dinner for Two

Thursday evening. A busy week. Do I feel like cooking? Not really.
I just happened to be in town this afternoon, and walking past our new Waitrose I happened to see a notice advertising their Dine In for £10.
Well, how could I resist? This is a new thing for Sherborne!

A few hours later we sat down to a delicious cheese soufflé as a starter, followed by an equally scrummy chicken and bacon dish with thinly sliced carrots, and green vegetables......our own strawberries and then, very indulgent, one or two chocolates from a big box of Thorntons!

We had to eat by candle light, as the kitchen light fittings are not working and are due to be replaced next week!
