The Prickly Pear

I have been dying to go to this American/Mexican restaurant since we first booked our honeymoon in the US.

Very small restaurant with lovely contemporary decor. Cozy but sophisticated.

Tried my first piece of Pecan Pie - served with homemade ice cream in a cupcake holder. The pie (and I'm sure Mary Berry would agree with me here) was more what I would classify as a tart (no lid!). But nonetheless it was delicious. Like a treacle tart but better thanks to the nuts and a slightly stronger, less sweet flavour.

Yummy.
