The small things in life

Today we made progress in the house so that it is more homely.

Hubby managed to plumb in a temporary shower and in the process discovered just how old the plumbing is and that we are the proud owners of an asbestos water tank! Oh dear.

Meanwhile I continued with the never ending cleaning and unpacking. Mass dumping has now be restricted to 2 rooms which feels like a massive achievement.

Excited for parental visit tomorrow!
