Hat Throwers

I know not everyone is such a huge fan of these dung fungi as I am, but we found some today at Longshaw that were not only visible to the naked eye but glistening with dew. Such amazing little beings! Pilobolus crystallinus. If you didn't click through to the video last time, here it is again - or a nice time-lapse video here
It's just possible when all the IDs come in that we have hit 1000 species for the Longshaw estate!
